Erika Campbell, Ed.D, LMHC, CGCM, Clinical Care Manager – Seattle Team

Licensed Mental Health Therapist with 40+ years of experience; Specializing in care navigation, enrichment programming, dementia, and end-of-life issues

For over 40 years, I have had the privilege of serving as a licensed mental health therapist and adult education specialist in a variety of settings, with Washington state as my home base for most of my career. I bring experience across psychiatric hospitals, life plan communities, and long-term care and rehabilitation settings, supporting individuals and families through complex health and life transitions with a thoughtful, person-centered approach.

Core Specializations

  • Mental health counseling

  • Dementia enrichment and education

  • Care navigation through medical, legal, and social challenges

  • Client empowerment and well-being

  • Certified End-of-Life Doula

  • I incorporate a person-centered approach, partnering with each client to establish goals based on their needs, desires, and values. I invite clients and their support systems into what I call a “conspiracy of goodness,” working together to create new experiences that foster respect, empowerment, and engagement.

    • Employed as a dementia programs coordinator at Greenwood Senior Center

    • Board member for People’s Memorial association

    • Advisory board member for the Memory Hub

    • Member of the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation and WA chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association

    • Site supervision for PLU Music Therapy Program and UW, Antioch University Mental Health and Social Work practicums

  • I seek to put my clients at ease by using empathetic active listening and humor during our time together. The more I can understand about their experience—their important eras of development, family and cultural identity, preferences for engagement, and personal interests—the better I can assist them in designing a care plan that reflects their needs and goals.

    • Doctoral Degree in Adult Educational Leadership, Seattle University

    • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Antioch University Seattle

    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

    • Certified Geriatric Care Manager

    • Certified End-of-Life Doula

  • My time outside of work is filled with live music, theater performances, and community events. You can often find me filling my bird feeders to entice feathered visitors while gardening or reading history and nonfiction in my backyard. I enjoy visiting farmers' markets, exploring new activities to share in my work, and taking overnight jaunts to museums and historic sites throughout the region.
